2nd Chemo!
Once again I’m plugged in to the chemo drip! Had to take steroids orally yesterday and guess what
? Didn’t sleep a wink again! I’m like the energizer bunny and keep going and going. I am being infused with more steroids right now but Doc is giving me something that may help me sleep tonight! Who ever said sleep is over rated is a liar! Need my sleep for more than rest but also to get those snap shot movies in the night season.
Thanks again for “Believing with Joy” and all your love and support!

After shedding worse than my dog, my lovely daughter decided to be creative with what hair I had left!
It was my idea to give it the final touch with my favorite color pink!
I’m sure within a few days the rest of the hair will be gone! I guess I’ll have to enjoy my mohawk while I can!
Thank you for your prayers…

Today I felt good enough to sit outside on my deck enjoying our Northwest sunshine! It may have been out all week but the view from my couch was limited!
I had my ups and downs with the Chemo side effects this week. Thanks to the praying warriors, some of the side effects were lessened.
I appreciate all the prayers and encouragement! Keep them coming!
August 25th – I survived chemo!
Well I survived my first round of Chemo! The process took about 4 1/2 hours to deliver. The first hour they pump you full of anti nausea drugs along with steroids and Benedryl. The next 3 1/2 hours are the two Chemo drugs. Felt fine for the most part but didn’t realize I was revved up by the steroids and didn’t sleep a wink all night! Imagine me on steroids! Lol!
Believe With Joy
In June, Joy was diagnosed with stage 3 invasive breast cancer. After much prayer and seeking the Lord for her healing, God has directed her to the “Cancer Treatment Centers of America” in Phoenix, Arizona. The Center treats the whole body, mind and spirit in their approach to healing.
She will undergo chemo and radiation in addition to meeting with a dietitian and Naturopathic doctor to help with keeping her immune system boosted through this process.
Joy is so grateful that God has led her to receive her care with the “Cancer Treatment Centers of America” or “CTCA” and is BELIEVING God for her complete manifested healing. She will be in treatment from now until mid 2012.
You can “BELIEVE WITH JOY” for her healing by joining your faith with her in prayer.
As you can imagine there will be a significant financial burden for the Parrott family. If you would like to make a donation
towards her health expenses, it would be greatly appreciated. Your donation will also be tax deductible.
Thank you for standing in the gap and “BELIEVING WITH JOY.” May God richly reward you for your prayers and support for Joy. God bless you!
All donations are tax deductible.
